WIMBLEDON TICKET DRAW

The draw for Wimbledon tickets is held annually in May

Only a Senior Tennis Member who is present in person (or represented by a proxy) at the drawing of names will be eligible to buy one of the Wimbledon tickets available through the Club. The drawing of names will take place at the American Tournament on Wednesday 14th May 2008, and will be combined with a Social Event to welcome all New Tennis Members. There will be no charge for attendance at the Social Event. The tennis will begin at 6.30p.m. and the draw at 8 p.m.

A Member who wishes his/her name to be included in the draw must complete and return the form at the bottom of this notice before 12th May 2008. Two Members who desire a pair of tickets (if successful in the draw) should submit a single Entry Form giving both names. There is no charge for inclusion in the draw.

If you are present at the draw (or represented by a proxy), and your Entry is drawn you will be able to choose the day and Court for which you wish to purchase a ticket or tickets, dependant on the choices already made by those whose names have been drawn earlier. The full price of each ticket will have to be paid on the spot. Actual issue of the ticket will only be possible after the name of the Member concerned has been reported to the All England Club and recorded as the authorised holder of the ticket in question. Tickets can be collected from the office between the 19th May and the 30th May 2008.

We take this opportunity to emphasise that Wimbledon tickets purchased by Members through the Club are not transferable. Ticket-holders are liable to an identity check when presenting their ticket and any irregularity could result in the Club permanently losing its entitlement to an allocation of Wimbledon tickets.

If you have entered your name into the draw for tickets, please make every effort to attend or send a proxy, as it is disappointing for organisers and applicant when a name is drawn and we are unable to allocate a Wimbledon ticket.
