Tennis Court Usage*

All courts are available from 8.30am on any day

Courts 1 to 3 are for Full  Senior Members .
Courts 4 to 6 for Restricted Senior Members .
Courts 7 & 8 for Junior Members .
However the Coaches are entitled to use two courts for their coaching activities at all times. If these are courts 7 & 8 then  Junior Members may use Court 6.
Full  Senior Members may use Courts 1 to 6 when not otherwise engaged.
All Senior Members are asked to respect the rights of Junior Members to use their court/s  freely and without hindrance.
1 When the Club coaches are using Courts 7 & 8 for coaching, Junior Members may use court 6 which is designated a Junior court for that period of time
2 No Junior Member may play before 12 noon on Sundays, all courts being available for the Senior Member Mix in on that day, between 10.30 and 12 noon
3 When the coaches are running the Club coaching programme Groups or Tennis Camps during the week, they may use courts 4 5 6 7 & 8
4 On Friday evenings between 5 and 7pm during the Summer term, when Juniors are allocated all tennis courts
5 During the Club Closed Junior Championships held in July and the Surrey Junior Championships held in August, when no courts are available to Senior Members
6 On Saturdays throughout the year, when the demand for courts is high, Senior Members may use Courts 1 to 5, Juniors, if present, may only use Court 6, and the coaches may only use Courts 7 & 8
7 If any of the courts are closed for Maintenance or Resurfacing the Tennis Committee will post revised rules on this website

Club Rules

Clothing

We ask that members wear recognised tennis clothing on court with tennis socks and tennis shoes (no heels, studs or ribbing on the soles.
No black uppers or black soles in order to protect the courts).

Clothes which are wholly or mainly covered in stripes or floral patterns. Football/rugby tops, training vests, cut-down jeans (denim) beachwear and non-sports shorts etc are unacceptable.

Visitors

Visitors may play at the club if they have been introduced by and accompanied by a tennis member or if they are a client of one of our coaches.
When bringing a visitor to the club please ensure that you make the appropriate entry in the Visitors Book (in cafe) and pay the fee (currently £3 per playing session).

Admission

Please park in Fife Road.

There are plenty of racks for bicycles.

Please wheel your bike past the small gate by the squash courts rather than ride it through this narrow passage.

Dogs on leads are allowed on the premises but may be asked to leave if they cause a disturbance
