Club Rules

Start of Play

Play starts after 8.30 a.m. each morning.

Clothing

We ask that members wear recognised tennis clothing on court with tennis socks and tennis shoes (no heels, studs or ribbing on the soles. No black uppers or black soles in order to protect the courts).

Clothes which are wholly or mainly covered in stripes or floral patterns. Football/rugby tops, training vests, cut-down jeans (denim) beachwear and non-sports shorts etc are unacceptable.

Shoe Tags

Members are issued with shoe tags which are valid for a year.  We ask that these clearly displayed by being laced into a tennis shoe or attached to the player's racket.

Visitors

Visitors may play at the club if they have been introduced by and accompanied by a tennis member or if they are a client of one of our coaches.   When bringing a visitor to the club please ensure that you make the appropriate entry in the Visitors Book (in cafe) and pay the fee (currently £3 per playing session).  

Admission

Please park in Fife Road.

There are plenty of racks for bicycles. 

Please wheel your bike past the small gate by the squash courts rather than ride it through this narrow passage. 

Dogs on leads are allowed on the premises but may be asked to leave if they cause a disturbance
