Welcome to Mini Tennis at Sheen. Mini Tennis is designed to make the game of Tennis easier and more accessible for your child. Aimed at Children under 10, Mini Tennis provides three stages for juniors to progress through using various court sizes and ball speeds to suit a child’s age and ability.
RED (8 & under)
Court size is 12 x 6 meters. These sessions aim to develop basic technical and rallying skills, leading to competitive play. An integral part of the sessions involve co-ordination, balance and ball skills.
Court size is 18 x 8 meters (3 meters short of a singles court). The aim of these sessions is to prepare children for full court Tennis. All the shots will be taught as well as basic tactical skills for match play.
GREEN (10 & Under)
Court size is normal singles court. The only difference here is the use of a slightly slower ball.
